Casi-Know 2.0
Somewhere between Manchester and Liverpool, lies a quaint little village, primarily occupied by Hooray Henrys, retired golfers and railway enthusiasts. You can only imagine how out of place a once famed lycra clad luchador might look living here!
Bazzingo the Gringo or Bazz as he is now known, was indeed a feared wrestler with quite the following in the South Americas.
He was famously involved in an altercation with Sergeant Slaughter and Rowdy Roddy Piper over a monkfish piccata.
One double clothes line, a figure 4 leg lock and camel clutch later, Bazzingo the Gringo reigned supreme.
It was a scene which came to be known as the:
THE SUPPER SLAM!
Bazzingo the Gringo had been dishonourably discharged from the squared circle but Bazz ain’t no quitter and even though he’d retired from professional wrestling he turned his hand to coaching fresh, new talent. He took a few to the top, most notably:
The Crimson Rust!
However, after landing a rather lucrative modelling contract, The Crimson Rust turned his back on wrestling, leaving Bazz without an opportunity to don the lycra ever again.
Bazz was filled with rage and fell into a pit of despair!
He tried wearing ladies tights & knickers but everyone knows that’s not the same as having a cape! In a desperate attempt to find inner peace, he hopped on a plane to England and this is where he re ignited his childhood passion of magic!
The once unbeaten champion had found his true calling. He was now producing doves from his backside, silly string from his nose and was rather busy performing at weddings and corporate events on top of creating his own company.
Black Cat Magic has been carving out a pretty good reputation for itself since 2019.
So what does all this pre amble have to do a review of CASI-KNOW 2.0?
Well Bazz is the creator of CASI-KNOW 2.0 and I just that felt that his back story is quite interesting and worth a mention!
What is CASI-KNOW 2.0?
CASI-KNOW 2.0 is a set of marked poker chips that can be used for all kinds of magic and mentalism routines. Please don’t be fooled (as I was) into thinking that this is nothing more than a one trick pony.
CASI-KNOW 2.0 is so much more than just a trick, it’s a utility device which has a very clever marking system hiding in plain sight.
A lot like that cigar in the wall picture that was doing the rounds a few years ago!

The chips come in a little velvet bag, for safe keeping and you also get a 40 page PDF full of routines, handling and tips. All cleverly devised by Bazz!
The CASI-KNOW 2.0 poker chips are very durable and feel quite heavy, not like some of those other chips you can buy. These are just like real Casino poker chips, perhaps because that is exactly what they are! Originally, I was concerned about having marked poker chips as my eyesight has been steadily declining with age but once you know the marking system, you’ll have no difficulty spotting them from a few feet away, you can trust me on that!
CASI-KNOW 2.0 opens up the possibility of not only performing but also creating some amazing moments of mental magic.
I’m not into gambling routines though!
Neither am I.
They feel a bit too much like a magic trick, although that is largely down to presentation. CASI-KNOW 2.0 will serve you well in many different types of routines and Bazz has even included a couple of belters to get you started.
One night in…
This is a fantastic routine where the spectator chooses a poker chip, a winning playing card and names a city where the chip was won.
Needless to say the magnificent mindreader can reveal all of the spectators choices in a miraculous fashion!
As is typical for magic companies these days, Black Cat Magic also has a Facebook page for it’s products, where people can share fresh ideas and see what’s in the pipeline.
Something else that’s worth mentioning here, is that CASI-KNOW 2.0 ties in very nicely with Afterglow which is an absolutely fantastic routine put together by the extremely cool, albeit somewhat mysterious Kaleb Wade and is available from Black Cat Magic or directly from Kaleb himself.
Well there you have it my friends, CASI-KNOW 2.0 is well worth the money at only £20, I honestly don’t know how Bazz is making any money from this? It’s worth at least double that!
