Invisible Miracle
Welcome to the world of Germán Dabat’s Invisible Miracle, a piece of mentalism so sleek that you’d think the laws of physics have gone for a coffee break.
This isn’t just a trick, it’s like a faint shimmer in the Matrix. A streetlamp flicker in La Plata during a sandstorm as Coquena armed with a deck of cards in his satchel, rides past on a llama that knows your PIN code. Yet somehow, Invisible Miracle still makes perfect sense.
So what is Invisible Miracle?
Let’s get down to the brass psychic tacks.
Invisible Miracle is a series of card revelations that feels impossible.
The method is hidden in the folds of subtlety and the outcome is a pure, jaw drop on the floor moment.
Here’s the short version:
You show a red deck of cards and leave it in plain sight.
You hand the spectator a blue deck, they choose two cards and hide each card in any pocket they want. Then, they reverse one card in the deck.
You reveal that you’ve predicted which card is in which pocket!
Inside the red deck, there’s one reversed card with a message written on its back.
It reads: Right pocket: 10 of Hearts, Left pocket: 4 of Spades.
As if that wasn’t enough, you turn over the reversed card
and it matches the spectator’s reversed card perfectly.
Oh and the prediction is different every time!
The brain behind the miracle: Germán Dabat
Germán Dabat is one of those people whose brain you’d want to borrow for a weekend. Born in Argentina, he started magic at the age of 9, with El Libro de la Magia in his tiny hands and mischief in his soul. Since then, he’s grown into a powerhouse of magic and is a regular performer at bars and venues across Argentina.
He teaches at the Vernet School of Magic (It’s like Hogwarts but cooler) and has helped shape countless routines for Fool Us, Got Talent and the Latin American magical elite.
His specialties are card magic, close up, mentalism, comedy and throwing curveballs at your brain! Invisible Miracle is no exception.
It’s the kind of thing that makes veteran performers pause mid performance and say: What did I just witness?
It’s Like an Oddsock with psychic powers
Let’s get weird: Imagine you’re wearing mismatched socks.
One has polka dots, the other glows in the moonlight and does arts and crafts. Which is quite handy because you’re going to need to do about 10 minutes of work to prepare the deck for Invisible Miracle but once you’ve done it, you’re set for life.
Invisible Miracle doesn’t shout:
LOOK AT ME, I’M DOING A TRICK!
It just casually rewires your participant’s perception of reality.
You seem to know things you shouldn’t know. Germán Dabat has taken multiple layers of deception and folded them into something that feels like a single thought.
Invisible Miracle is about giving your audience a moment of real astonishment.
A memory that lingers and giving yourself the kind of clean, powerful effect that leaves your participant speechless.
El Pombero would approve
If you’ve never heard of El Pombero, let me introduce you:
He’s a mythical forest creature from South American folklore.
He sneaks around, messes with your stuff and is known for being both mischievous and very wise.
In my fantasy universe (which is basically where I live)
El Pombero saw Invisible Miracle and nodded his head in approval.
This is Pombero magic: Silent, strange and effective.
Fragmented Thoughts
