He was a drummer in a rock band named Merlin and it was during this period that he began incorporating stage illusions into the band’s acts, marking the beginning of his journey into magic, but it was when the band opened for a hypnotist that he became intrigued with magic of the mind.
He began to experiment with hypnotism and after successfully hypnotising a bandmate, a passion was ignited that would change the course of his career.
